-Does
your boiler make noise?
-Does your radiators feel half cold?
- Do you hear noise in your pipes?
-Rusty radiators
-Small leaks starting to come from the radiators
-Dark water coming form your radiators.
-Pump failure
-It takes a long time for your system to heat up the house
-Boiler keeps lock down-need to reset?
Any of these symptoms could indicate that your
central heating system has circulation problems ,due to the scale,
sludge or corrosion in your system.
Overtime your central heating system can become blocked and restrict
the flow to your radiators.
Power flushing can remove all these problems, and restore the
system to have a better circulation and efficiency. It can also
help prevent other problems like leaking radiators, rusty radiators
and even help reduce energy bills.
Power flushing is required when fitting a new
boiler, it is actually obligatory by some manufacturers, in fact,
if you don’t have it done, it invalidates your boiler warranty.
It also extends the life of your boiler and central heating system |

We use a light-commercial power flush machine
with powerful magnets (as seen in pictures) to clean and filter
the central heating system pipe work and radiators.
We, either remove the pump or a radiator. This
saves time as it can flush the whole system from one entry point
and there is no need to remove any other radiators. |
|
We add a chemical cleaner while it’s flushing and then we
remove all traces of the chemical and sludge and once the system
is cleaned, we add inhibitor to protect the system.
It usually takes us between 3 hours and a day,
depending on how big is your system (how many radiators) and how
dirty it is.
Warning: Power
flushing your central heating system can not cause any damage
to the pipes or radiators and it will not fix any leaks or damages
already caused by the scale, sludge and internal rust. Also, on
rare occasions(but they do happen), because of the removal of
the sludge and scale, it may expose small leaks in the system
which was not showing previously as they were blocked by the debris. |
